About Seven Lanterns
Seven Lanterns turns your week of steps into a string of glowing paper lanterns in a snowy night forest. There is one lantern for every day of the week. As you walk, today's lantern slowly fills with warm light, and when you reach your daily step goal it shines fully lit with a soft glow.
Every day counts. A day where you reached your goal stays lit for the rest of the week. A day where you missed it is not simply dark: its lantern shows how far you got, so 80% of your goal is a lantern 80% full of light. Days still to come wait as faint outlines. Each lantern has a small round tag with its day letter: gold when the goal was reached, bronze when it was missed, and white for today until you reach your goal, when it turns gold too.
Light all seven lanterns in one week and the whole forest glows with fireflies. A new week starts with fresh lanterns, on Monday or Sunday, following your watch setting or your own choice.
The past days come from your watch's own step history and your own Garmin step goal for each day. Everything is drawn on the watch, so it works offline and needs no image downloads.
Beyond the lanterns, this watch face also gives you a data-rich display for health monitoring and fitness tracking.
